the incubation trend goes on...
I'm an incubator for men and marriage, but not to me. To the women who they meet next. Very interesting... Tonight I heard from my latest ex that he's madly in love. It's the third time in fourteen years (and four significant relationships) that I've heard (almost word-for-word) about the subsequent relationship: "We're perfect for each other. I think I'm going to marry her." The first two have been happily married for years, and I suspect this marriage will be happy too. Especially given the fact that my latest ex was neither a big personal believer of marriage or of parenthood. With this marriage, he'll get both (two stepkids).
I for one am ecstatic for them. I have had the privilege to date incredibly smart, handsome ("hot" even), talented and kind men - and unfortunately have not been able to reciprocate their love for me. So I'm tickled pink that they have moved on to find women who love them truly, madly, deeply.
But hmm... this must also be a marketable talent. Think I could quit my job and make it a business? "Want to find the right one? Date me, and you'll soon after find the woman of your dreams. Satisfaction guaranteed!"

those women should thank you for the hard ground work that you did (unknowingly) on their behalves. now, may the woman who is incubating your true love treat him with as much kindness amd respect as you did for those other men.
oh, that's a very kind way to frame it. thank you! :)
