a very quick update

my last day at IDHA will be September 28th.

my very tentative plans thus far are to visit friends and travel in China for 3-4 weeks starting mid-October, teach English writing and freelance for a few months in Seoul, and then visit another friend and travel in Japan before coming back to Seattle in spring 08. my hope is the money i earn while in Korea will more than pay for all my travels and expenses, here and abroad. the won is the strongest i've ever known it to be against the dollar (900w = $1).

my how quickly things change... the question is, do i freeze or do i adapt? i'm going to use this situation to do what i haven't been able to do for the last year and a half: travel, write, and have a personal life.
