my girlfriend sends me this link about charitible giving within the asian-american community. very sobering. reminds me of Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger which proposes that our charitible giving should increase percentage-wise with increases in our income. sadly, the trend is that the more people make, the less they proportionately give away. seems that we like to keep more once we have more, as backwards as that is.
